Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
WakeBuddy is built so your mornings stay private. We don’t have accounts, ads, or tracking.
What stays on your iPhone
- Your voice. When an alarm rings, WakeBuddy listens through the microphone only to check your wake-up phrase. Speech recognition runs on your iPhone. Audio is not recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.
- Recordings you make. If you record your own alarm voice, the file stays on your iPhone. It leaves the device only if you share it yourself.
- Alarms and history. Your alarms, settings, and morning history are stored locally on your iPhone.
What we don’t collect
We don’t collect personal information, contacts, location, or usage data. We don’t track you across apps or websites, and we don’t sell data.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple. We don’t see your payment details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to purchases.
To keep track of subscriptions, the app shares purchase records (which plan, when it started or renewed) with RevenueCat, our subscription service, under a random anonymous ID. This is not linked to your name, email, or Apple Account. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
Notifications
WakeBuddy uses local notifications on your iPhone, for example a reminder before your free trial ends. Nothing is sent from a server.
Website
This website has no cookies, analytics or trackers. Voice samples and the video play only when you start them or scroll to them.
Children
WakeBuddy is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above.
